Q: |
Why should I consider becoming a Dental Assistant? |
A: |
It’s one of the few careers in which you can be trained and ready to work in less than 3 months with excellent prospects for immediate employment. A career as a Dental Assistant will provide you with a skill that is in demand in virtually every community, and with opportunities for advancement. The work schedule can be very desirable, with some offices offering a work week that is shorter than a full five days.

Q: |
Do you provide job placement assistance? |
A: |
Each student will work with the ADASA staff to develop a resume prior to graduation. Assistance will be provided to each student as to how to best contact dentists in their geographic area of interest. In addition, ADASA maintains relationships with dentists in the school’s region, and from time to time may be able to provide job opening information, as it is made available by dentists participating in ADASA’s Dental Assisting Recruitment Program.
